    Our original roof was 25 years old and it was time to replace. After interviewing 3 different companies, we decided to hire Golden Hammer. And, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Zach and his team of professional installers. When you are tasked with protecting your home, your investment, and need to rely on a person or company to do what needs to be done….well, today it isn’t always an easy thing to do. Sometimes communication breaks down, and calls aren’t returned promptly. Or you’re promised things that aren’t delivered. Well, if you hire Zach you won’t have to worry about any of those things. From start to finish the job was seamless. His crew arrived early on installation day. Tarps were used to protect our porch, deck and plants from falling debris. And then, a team of 10 men descended upon our house and worked like a well oiled machine ripping off shingles, applying new underlayment and installing new shingles. New seamless gutters and gutter guards completed the job. Zach and Mitch, his foreman, were on the job the entire time. When the job was done, such attention was given to the cleanup.     The siding & windows on my father’s home were roughly 25 years old. With the updated windows and beautiful siding, the company made the house look brand new!! They’re a highly reliable, easy to work with company that truly care about their customers. My father & I were so satisfied with how the job came out! Highly recommend.     Great to work with a contractor that knows what they're doing. From start to finish a truly professional job. I needed a new patio surrounding my built in pool that was getting a new liner. Zach from Golden Hammer measured, made some great design suggestions and quoted the job at a fair and reasonable price. The crews showed up on the day they said and did great work.     Zack and his team just replaced my original 25 year old roof. It was a pleasure working with Zack. He explained in great detail the entire process and his team did a great job.     Golden Hammer did an amazing job on our new roof. It looks amazing and they helped with chimney repairs we needed as well. Zach is very professional and informative and the whole crew that came to the house for the day was very pleasant and friendly. They cleaned up very nicely too at the end of the day too.     Couldn't be happier! How often can you say that about a contractor? Zach and his team were right on, from fairness of price, quality of work (meticulous!), scheduling, everything. They arrived when they said they would and kept me informed through the whole process. In addition to the roof, they did a great job replacing our extensive white fascia around the house. Nine days from quote to completion, March 2025 in Smithtown. As a bonus, I reached out to my insurance company and was able to get a discount on my homeowners premium because the roof is new.
